The OnePlus 13R device features a 6.78-inch LTPO 4.1 AMOLED display. This is a high-end panel with a 1.5K resolution ($2780 times 1264$ pixels) and a variable refresh rate of 1–120Hz, which helps conserve battery life when looking at static images. It reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making it exceptionally clear under direct sunlight. For durability, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and features Aqua Touch 2.0, which ensures the screen remains responsive even when your fingers or the display are wet.

Performance & Hardware

Under the hood, the 13R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. While the 8 Elite is newer, the 8 Gen 3 remains a powerhouse in 2026, capable of running any modern game at max settings. This is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, providing flagship-level data transfer and multitasking speeds. The phone also includes an upgraded cooling system to prevent thermal throttling during long gaming sessions.

Camera Capabilities

The 13R sees a significant camera upgrade over its predecessor (the 12R). The triple-lens setup includes:

• Main: 50MP Sony LYT-700 with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Battery & Charging

The standout feature is the massive 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. This is the largest battery OnePlus has ever put in a phone, easily providing two days of use for average users. It supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, which can boost the battery from 1% to 50% in roughly 20 minutes. Note that it does not support wireless charging, a common trade-off for the “R” series.

Software & Connectivity

The OnePlus 13R phone ships with OxygenOS 15 (Android 15) and is eligible for 4 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security patches. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC, and retains the iconic Alert Slider on the side.
