Performance & hardware

At its core is the A16 chip with a 5-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, delivering smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and apps like video editing (light use).
With 8GB RAM, it handles multiple apps better than older entry-level iPads and stays responsive over time.

In real-world use, this means:

• Fast app launches
• Smooth gaming (Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG, etc.)
• Stable multitasking (split screen, note-taking + browsing)

However, it doesn’t support high-end multitasking tools like Stage Manager found on iPad Air/Pro.
