The Sony HT-B600 is a 3.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar system designed to bring cinematic, multi-dimensional audio into a home setup without requiring multiple speakers around the room. It combines a main soundbar unit with a wireless subwoofer, delivering both clarity and deep bass.

At its core, the system uses a 3.1.2 speaker configuration, meaning three front channels (left, right, and center), one dedicated subwoofer channel, and two up-firing speakers. These upward drivers bounce sound off the ceiling to simulate overhead audio, creating a 3D surround effect that mimics cinema environments. This is powered by support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which are advanced audio formats designed to position sound in a three-dimensional space.

The HT-B600 delivers a total power output of about 350 watts, which is strong enough for medium to large living rooms.
